Chelmsford City Council Masterplan
Published: 26 June 2020
Chelmsford City Council (CCC) is seeking local views on the proposed Masterplan for the site, which is allocated for development in the recently adopted Chelmsford Local Plan as Policy SGS10.
The attached website has been prepared by the site promoters (Countryside, Essex County Council Property and the Speakman family / Bellway) in agreement with CCC. It provides detailed information on the preparation of the Masterplan (which has been submitted by the promoters to the CCC) and how to provide feedback on it to CCC.
The site includes several bite-size ways that you can understand how the Masterplan has been developed:
A virtual exhibition of the Masterplan development can be found in the attached website, short webinars on how the Masterplan has addressed key issues on the Developing the Masterplan page
At the current time, whilst it is not possible to undertake face to face events, we are providing all those who live and work in South Woodham Ferrers with as many ways to provide feedback as possible. If you would like to comment, the ways to do this can be found on our feedback page. All comments must be received by Friday 24th July 2020.
The Town Council has a Masterplan Committee that will review the proposals and agree the Town Councils submission closer to the consultation deadline. If you would like to make the Town Council aware of any of your comments please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org please ensure though that you also comment on the consultation.
